Mahesh Khadtare Personal info
I was born in Jan of 1979 in the city of Pune, India. Pune is a medium-sized city of about 3 million located about
120 miles East of Mumbai (formerly Bombay). We Puneites love our city and it takes a great deal to get us to leave it.
Growing Up
I grew up in Pune for the most part of my life. My two younger sisters, my parents and my grandparents taught me the
value of a good family and raised me to be a honest, sincere, hard-working and God-fearing individual. Apart from school,
studies, TV and play I enjoyed the company of a host of friends and relatives who frequently showed up at our house. Growing
up was easy and pleasant with no hangups.
Education
I went to Hindustan Antibiotic (HA) High School, Pimpri, Pune for my elementary and high school classes. I was a smart
guy who always figured in the top few academically but was shy and introverted and never tried sports in school. In my co-ed
school my shyness never allowed me to make a whole lot of friends.
After excelling in the 10th grade ('94 batch), I joined Modern College, Pune for grades 11 and 12. Here, I made a
few friends but still remained a studious, focused and introverted individual.
I excelled in my grade 12 ('96 batch) and joined Government College of Engineering, Pune for my Electronics and Telecommunications
Major. I made a lot of good friends here and I made many extra curricular activities in this college as Rowing, Punt, "Firodia
Karandak" inter college competition.
I went to the IIT Guwahati in '02 to pursue my MTech in Signal processing at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
I worked in the area of ECG arrhythmia analysis using multiresolution and pattern recognition tools as ANN, SVM under the
guidance of Dr. JS Sahambi.
On this home page, I'll introduce myself and talk about my reasons for wanting a web site. I might put a picture of myself
on this page...or just a picture that I especially like.
